Maybe your friend was a pain in the ass.

Being the lady that Miss Channing is, could she have thought it was kind to use "the lipstick story" to get away from your pain in the ass friend?

searching "'carol channing'crazy" will bring you to this entry.

somehow I'm doing a speech on this woman whose name I blurted out randomly while pressured for a topic in front of the class.

thankyou for your valuable insight on the subject.

apparently my friend julai met her once, and she was telling carol how much she admired her work, when suddently, ms. channing looks up at random and says "my lipstick's gettin' cakey". after wiping it off with a kleenex and reapplying, she said "better" and walked off, totally out of it, apparently.

brilliant.

have you met james brown?
